Elsie G. Vivian

Mrs. Elsie G. Vivian, 65, of Blooming Valley, died suddenly Friday, March 24, 1967, at City Hospital.  She had been a patient at the hospital one day.

Born in Woodcock Township, June 17, 1901, Mrs. Vivian was a daughter of Forrest and June Waid Smith.

She married William P. Vivian on August 28, 1928.  He died in 1955.

She and her husband had operated Vivian's Greenhouse at Blooming Valley for 26 years.  She also was a saleswomen for Avon Products.

Mrs. Vivian was a member of Blooming Valley Methodist Church and of the Blooming Valley VFD Aux.

Among her survivors are two daughters, Mrs. Allen (Helen) Dangel of Blooming Valley and Mrs. Raymond (Betty) Prusia of Meadville; a son, Charles of Harmonsburg; eleven grandchildren and several cousins.

Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.

Interment was in Blooming Valley Cemetery.
