Elsie M. Mook

Elsie M. Mook, 90, of Meadville, formerly of Guys Mills, died at the Care Center, February 10, 1991, after a period of failing health.

She was born in Lawrence Township, Clearfield County, March 18, 1901, a daughter of Fred and Lydia Mae Schwab Weaver.  She married Leon Mook, June 14, 1952.  He preceded her in death, February 29, 1968.

She was a homemaker.  She was of the Methodist faith.

Survivors include two sisters, Edna Doyle of Madison, OH and Mrs. Almer (Elva) Teed of Guys Mills; and two brothers, Fred Weaver, Jr. of Slippery Rock and Clifford Weaver of Mesquite, NM.

She was preceded in death by two brothers, Norman and Charles Weaver; three sisters, Mary Hoover, Nora Groger and Eva Harvey and a daughter, Betty Ward.

Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.

Interment was in Union Cemetery, Guys Mills.
