Elsie Mabel Macloed

February 8, 1910 — August 15, 1978

Mrs. Elsie Mabel MacLeod, 68, wife of Cameron A. MacLeod, of Meadville, died Tuesday, August 15, 1978, at City Hospital after a one-year illness.

She was born in Geneva, February 8, 1910, daughter of Curtis Leroy and Iva Jean Cutshall Smock.  She last worked as a waitress at the Meadville Elks Club.  She previously was secretary-receptionist for Dr. V. G. Hawkey.  She was a member of First Presbyterian Church and the Auxiliary to Harm Jan Huidekoper Post 2006, Veterans of Foreign Wars.

Survivors in addition to her husband include two sons, Dudley A. and John L., both of Meadville; two brothers, Ralph C. and Lloyd Smock, both of Meadville; and two grandchildren.

Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.

Interment was in Cochranton Cemetery.
