Elwood E. Kiser

August 8, 1913 — June 3, 1977

Elwood E. Kiser, 63, of Meadville, died at his home Friday, June 3, 1977, after an illness of two months.

He was born in West Mead Township on August 8, 1913, a son of Tracy and Lydia Joslyn Kiser.  He married Marian Klippel in 1933.  Mr. Kiser was a tool and die maker for Talon Division of Textron, Inc. and a member of the International Assn. of Machinists.  He was a member of Cochranton Christians and Missionary Alliance Church for which he served as treasurer for many years.

Survivors include his widow; a daughter, Mrs. Richard (Dolores) White of Meadville; a son, David E. of Branson, MO; a sister, Mrs. Leroy (Esther) Ehrgott of Meadville; a brother, Ellis of Pasadena, CA; several nieces and nephews, including Larry Kiser of Spokane, WA and Miss Linda Kiser of Meadville, who were raised by Mr. and Mrs. Kiser; and six grandchildren.

Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.

Interment was in Kiser Hill Cemetery.
