Emil A. “Butch” Kudiak, 73 of New Lebanon, passed away on May 20, 2023 at his home. Butch was born in Meadville on December 21, 1949 to the late Emil J. and Geraldine (Tenny) Kudiak. He proudly served his Country in the United States Army. He then went on to work at Greenville Steel Car as a welder.
Butch was very proud of his time serving his Country. He enjoyed spending time outdoors and gardening. He also enjoyed cooking. He was a simple man that enjoyed the small things in life. He loved watching television, especially CSI and MASH. Most of all he loved his family, especially his grandchildren.
Butch married his beloved wife: Betty Kudiak in 1979, she preceded him in death in 2004.
Left to cherish his memory is his son: Michael (April) Kudiak of New Lebanon, step-children: Tom (Peggy) Yanacek of Meadville; Michelle (Mark) Mahan of York; and Laurie (Darrell) Combs of Meadville, grandchildren: Cole Kudiak; Desiree Fogal; Collin Wrinkler; Abby Mahan; Anna Ross; Jacob Mahan; Caitlin Beagle; and Brandon Yanacek, great-grandchildren: Roman Fogal; Kayelynne Fogal; Carter Beagle; and Camden Beagle, he is also survived by the mother to his son Michael: Jeannie McBride.
Butch was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Betty, and his siblings.
Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Rose And Black Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc. Stoneboro & Sandy Lake.
As per Butch’s wishes, there will be no services.
