Emily A. Stebbins

Mrs. Emily A. Stebbins, 62, wife of the Rev. Linson H. Stebbins, of Syracuse, OH, died Sunday, June 23, 1968, at Spencer Hospital after an illness of three weeks.  Mrs. Stebbins became ill while in Meadville visiting Mrs. Carl Barker.

Mrs. Stebbins was born in Saegertown on August 21, 1905.  She was a daughter of John R. and Eletha McConnell Rich, and married the Rev. Mr. Stebbins on May 3, 1927.

She was affiliated with the First United Presbyterian Church of Syracuse and its Missionary Society.  The Rev. Mr. Stebbins is pastor of this church.

Surviving, besides her husband, are three daughters, Mrs. James (Eletha J.) Kerwood of Belleville, OH, Mrs. Jerry (Margaret Ann) Johnson of McConnelsville, OH and Candice at home; two sons, John E. of Gallipolis, OH and David L. of Syracuse, OH; two sisters, Mrs. G. Aten (Mary) Smith of Terrill, TX and Mrs. Ralph D. (Esther) Thomas of Miami, FL and five grandchildren.

Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.

Interment was in Letart Falls Cemetery, Letart, OH.
