Mrs. Emma K. Pierce, 89, died Thursday, July 6, 1972, at the San Rosario Nursing Home, Cambridge Springs, where she had lived since November 1969.
She was born in Randolph Township, November 12, 1882, a daughter of Warren and Sarah Culver Davison. She married Wayne Flint on August 1, 1902, and he died on 1937. She subsequently married John H. Pierce on October 5, 1941. He died in 1969. In the 1930s, Mrs. Pierce operated Aunt Emma's Tea Room at Saegertown.
Surviving are a foster daughter, Mrs. Cyril (Hazel) Scott of Meadville; a daughter-in-law, Mrs. Walter (Mildred) Pierce of Meadville; a niece, Mrs. Merle (Arlene) Shouey of Meadville; a nephew, Wayne Davison of the state of Washington and several cousins.
Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.
Interment was in Cochranton Cemetery.
