Emma Leona Fox, wife of William J. Fox, died Monday at the family residence on the Mercer Pike, following a brief illness.
She and her husband celebrated their golden wedding anniversary June 6, 1944. Born in Wayne Township near Cochranton, Mrs. Fox was a lifelong member of St. Paul's Evangelical and Reformed Church in Meadville, a member of the Willing Workers Class and the Women's Guild of the church.
Surviving are her husband; one daughter, Mrs. Kenfield K. Lane of Meadville; two sons, Theodore Fox of Meadville and Frederick Fox of New Castle; and the following brothers and sisters, George Feldmiller of Meadville, Frederick Feldmiller of Cochranton and Mrs. Robert Bell of Hyattsville, MD.
Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.
Interment was in Greendale Cemetery.
