Emma Mae Schutz

January 17, 1876 — April 20, 1958

Mrs. Emma Mae Schutz, 82, died Sunday, April 20, 1958, at City Hospital where she had been a patient three weeks.

She was born January 17, 1876, in Woodcock Township, to Frank and Henrietta Shunk Anderhalt.  She was married to Henry John Schutz, who died August 2, 1936.

She had moved to Meadville form Woodcock Township after her husband's death and lived in the city until moving to Linesville.

She attended Linesville Baptist Church and was secretary of the church's Loyal Bible Class of the Church School.  She was a member of Linesville Grange, the Linesville American Legion Post Aux. and was active in American Cancer Society work.

Surviving are three sons, John R., Harold A. and Paul F., all of Meadville; three half-brothers, John and Nelson Anderhalt of Meadville and Wilbur Anderhalt of Jamestown, NY; eight grandchildren; two great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.

Interment was in Greendale Cemetery.
