Emma S. Longberry

March 23, 1878 — January 1, 1753

Mrs. Emma S. Longberry, widow of the late James W. Longberry, died Sunday evening at her home in Randolph Township following a long illness.

Mrs. Longberry had moved to Crawford County from Ohio 23 years ago.  She as a member of the Townville Baptist Church and the Missionary Society of the Guys Mills Congregational Church.

She leaves six daughters, Mrs. G. S. Hoagland of Newton Falls, OH, Mrs. Nicholas Sperstra of Leavittsburg, OH, Mrs. Lawrence Williams of Cambridge Springs, Mrs. Kenneth Strause of Lakeside, OH, Mrs. Donald Burns at home and Mrs. Walter Jones of Spartansburg; two sons, Rev. H. Hilton Longberry of Youngstown, OH and Herschel L. Longberry of Townville; a brother, Albert M. Sivey of Terra Haute, IN; twenty-four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.

Interment was in Union Cemetery, Guys Mills.
