Emma V. Walker

May 19, 1889 — August 16, 1958

Mrs. Emma V. Walker, 69, of Meadville, died Saturday August 16, 1958, at City Hospital.  She was the widow of Frank F. Walker and operated a grocery store with her husband on Porter Street for many years.  He died in April 1957.

She was born May 19, 1889, in Indiana County, a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William Houck.  She was married August 3, 1911, and was a member of First Baptist Church and its New Loyal Sunday School Class.

She is survived by two sons, Galen B. and Milton W., both teachers at Meadville Area High School; a sister, Mrs. Jesse Ferier of Clymer and four grandchildren.

Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.

Interment was in Roselawn Memorial Gardens.
