Emory P. Hoffman, 82, of Meadville, died Friday morning, November 18, 1966, at City Hospital following an illness of fifteen months.
A son of Henry and Margaret Shaffer Hoffman, he was born July 13, 1884, in Crawford County. His first wife, the former Susan Smith, whom he married June 28, 1910, died in March 1954. He married the former Genevieve Bisbee, April 22, 1959. He died in December of 1959.
Mr. Hoffman operated a general store at Mt. Hope for 31 years. He moved in 1947 to Meadville where he was associated with various real estate agencies, most recently the Tom Deloe Agency.
He was a 1907 graduate of Meadville Commercial College.
He is survived by a son, G. Stewart Hoffman of Meadville and two grandchildren, Ronald and Roger Hoffman.
Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.
Interment was in Mt. Hope Cemetery.
