Enrique Gonzalez, Jr.

Enrique Gonzalez, Jr., 50, of Findley Twp., Mercer, passed away on Friday, March 10, 2023 at UPMC Mercy Hospital in Pittsburgh.

Enrique was born in New York, New York on May 15, 1972 to the late Enrique Gonzalez, Sr. and Luce Tirado-Tufino.

Enrique grew up in New Jersey and later moved to Pennsylvania. He spent most of his career in the transportation field doing various jobs as a school bus driver and taxi driver. In his younger years he enjoyed art, and aspired to be artist and draw. He also loved playing video games. He was diehard New York Giants fan, and never missed watching a game.

He is survived by his beloved fiancée, Crystal Steele.

In addition to his fiancée, he is survived by three sisters, Gigi, Marilyn and Daisy; his step-son, Julien; his sister-in-law, Connie Kennedy; his aunt-in-law, Judy; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

He was preceded death by his parents, a sister, Clara, his mother-in-law, Lois Steele and his father-in-law, Harold Steele.

Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Rose and Black Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., of Stoneboro and Sandy Lake. As per his wishes there will be no public services.
