Erma C. Mushrush

July 1, 1925 — March 20, 2008

Erma C. Mushrush, 82, of 22103 Blooming Valley Rd., Meadville, died Thursday, March 20, 2008 at Meadville Medical Center following a period of declining health.

She was born in Meadville July 1, 1925, a daughter of the late Edward and Bertha Hess Roha.  She married Paul W. Mushrush September 4, 1948.

A 1943 graduate of Mercer High School, she was a homemaker and had worked at the Keystone Ordinance Works during World War II.  She also served in the Canadian Army in Canada for a brief period during World War II.

A member of First Presbyterian Church and its Faith circle, she enjoyed traveling, vacations to Florida, gardening, fishing, playing the piano, and especially spending time with her daughter, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.

Survivors, in addition to her husband Paul of 59 years, include a daughter, Kathy Wykoff and her husband Ed of Massillon, OH; 2 grandchildren, Michael Wykoff and his wife Kelly and David Wykoff and his wife Amanda; 4 great-grandchildren, Samuel, Benjamin, and Abigail Wykoff and Katlyn Phifer; a sister, Leona Schwab and her husband Paul of Meadville; 3 brothers, Ernest Roha of Meadville; Paul C. Roha of Conneautville; and Dale Roha of Meadville; and numerous nieces and nephews.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by 2 brothers, Arthur and Victor Roha.

Calling hours will be Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the Robert W. Waid Funeral Home, 581 Chestnut St., Meadville.

A funeral service will be Tuesday at 10:30 a.m. at the funeral home with the Rev. Travis Webster, Associate Pastor of First Presbyterian Church officiating.

Interment will be in Roselawn Memorial Gardens.

The family suggests memorials may be made to the Masonic Building Fund, 17112 Parkview Drive, Meadville, PA 16335.
