Ernestine M Harmon

Mrs. Ernestine M. Harmon, 82, of Meadville, died Wednesday, July 23, 1986, at Meadville Medical Center, following a sudden illness.

She was born in Alsace-Lorraine, Germany, September 7, 1903, a daughter of Joseph and Ernestine Mona Rey.  She married Stanley L. Harmon on December 3, 1929.  He died June 11, 1980.

In her early life, she worked at Warren Ries Electric Co. and at Green's Plumbing Shop of Meadville.  She was a member of St. Agatha's Roman Catholic Church and Meadville Woman's Club.  She graduated from St. Agatha's High School and attended Allegheny College.

Mrs. Harmon is survived by three sisters, Miss Theresa Rey of Meadville, Sister Louisa of Sisters of St. Joseph, Erie and Mrs. Rita Kemper of Plantation, FL; a brother, Frances Edward Rey of Dallas, TX; niece and nephews and grand-nieces and grand-nephews.

She was preceded in death by an infant brother, Ernest; another brother, Joseph Rey, Jr. and a sister, Mary Diehl.

Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.

Interment was in St. Agatha Cemetery.
