Estelle Cutler Smith

Mrs. Estelle Cutler Smith, 90, widow of Dennis C. Smith, died at her home in Meadville, Sunday evening June 5, 1960, after a long illness.

She was born in Guys Mills June 25, 1869, daughter of Charles W. and Caroline Carpenter Cutler.  She was a life-long member of the Congregational Church.

For many years she and her husband were associated with members of her family in mercantile business known as Smith and Cutler at Guys Mills.  In 1914, they moved to Meadville where Smith died in 1921.

Mrs. Smith is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Lottie Schermerhorn, with whom she made her home; a son, Stanley C. of Meadville; a grandson, C. W. Shcermerhorn of Indianapolis, IN and four great-grandchildren.

Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.

Interment was in Greendale Cemetery.
