Ethel C. Seymour

Ethel C. Seymour, 98, of Conneaut Lake, passed away Monday, April 9, 2018 in Rancho Mirage, CA where she enjoyed her winter home. She was born May 4, 1919 in Indiana, PA, a daughter of Elmer Allen and Lillian Vatter Campbell. She married Frank B. Seymour August 10, 1945 and he preceded her in death September 21, 1991. Ethel was a graduate of Indiana State Teachers College. She was a hostess for the Pennsylvania Central Airlines during World War II and was a long-time elementary school teacher in the West Allegheny Joint School District in the 1950s and 1960s. Ethel was a member of the Presbyterian Church of Conneaut Lake. She loved life at Conneaut Lake with all of her friends and neighbors. Survivors include two sons, Harry Seymour (Susan) of Conneaut Lake and David Seymour (Jeannie) of Portland, OR; four grandsons; five great-grandchildren; and a sister, Esther Campbell of Blairsville. A private family graveside service and interment will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Harmonsburg. Memorials may be made to the Presbyterian Church of Conneaut Lake, P.O. Box 150, Conneaut Lake, PA 16316.
