Ethel E. Schweitzer

Ethel E. Schweitzer, 93, a resident of Wesbury United Methodist Community, died Wednesday, January 13, 1999 at Meadville Medical Center.

She was born in Randolph Township, November 14, 1905, a daughter of Fred and Maggie (Rush) Demaison.  She married Charles Schweitzer, June 22, 1926 and he preceded her in death in 1958.

She worked in the Crawford Store for fourteen and one half years and then worked as a LPN in the Recovery Room at the former Spencer Hospital for 12 years.  She was a member of St. Agatha Roman Catholic Church.

Survivors include three daughters, Betty Richardson (Lawrence) of Cambridge Springs, Joanne Walls (Jerry) of Meadville and Peg Lilly (William) of Conneaut, OH; a son, Clair Schweitzer (Shirley) of Meadville; a brother, Roy Demaison of Frenchtown; nineteen grandchildren and twenty-seven great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a daughter, Nancy Hope; two brothers, Walter and Dorrance Demaison; a sister, Neva Park and two great-grandchildren.

Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.

Interment was in St. Hippolyte Cemetery.
