Ethel L. Olsen

Miss Ethel L. Olsen, 77, formerly of Warren, who had been a patient at the United Methodist Nursing Home since 1969, died at the United Methodist Nursing Hospital Tuesday, December 14, 1976, after a long illness.

She was born in Warren on January 26, 1899, a daughter of Peter and Kristen Christoffersen Olsen.  She was an executive director for various YWCAs in six states and in her earlier years was employed in the purchasing department of New Process Co. at Warren.  She was a 1930 graduate of Allegheny College and was a member of Alpha Gamma Delta Sorority and of the First United Methodist Church of Warren.

Survivors include several cousins.

Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.

Interment was in Oakland Cemetery.
