Etta May Walton

April 7, 1872 — October 24, 1945

Mrs. Etta May Walton, widow of Clifford Walton, who died 19 years ago, died Wednesday evening at the home of a daughter, Mrs. D. Raymond Theuret, of Wayland, after a long illness.

She had spent her entire life in the East Mead Township community.  She was a member of the Wayland Ladies Aid Society and Kiser-Mead Grange and at one time was active in the State Road Methodist Church.

She is survived by two other daughters, Mrs. Theodore Burton of Wayland and Mrs. Dorothy Byers of Detroit; two sons, J. Earl Walton and Charles Walton, both of Wayland; a brother, Charles D. Beatty of West Mead Township; eleven grandchildren and one great-grandson.

Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.

Interment was in Oakwood Cemetery.
