Eugene R. Crabb

Eugene R. Crabb, 66, of Meadville, died Thursday, March 8, 2001 at Meadville Medical Center following a brief illness.

He was born in Meadville, July 28, 1934 a son of John A. and Florence M. Miller Crabb.

He was a 1952 graduate of Meadville High School and served in the US Army from 1957 to 1959.  He was a member of Eagles Aerie #429, Harm Jan Huidikooper VFW Post #2006 and the Meadville Club.  He enjoyed bowling, golf and attending local sporting events.  He was of the Protestant faith.

Survivors include four sisters, Caroline Lundell (Donald) of Conneaut Lake, Shirley McGarry (William) of Mentor, OH, Isabelle Moss (Samuel) of Atlanta, GA and Dianne Crabb of Pittsburgh; two brothers, Buckley Crabb (Pat) of Titusville and Mark Crabb of Guys Mills; and sixteen nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Raymond Crabb and John Crabb, Jr.

Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.

Interment was in Roselawn Memorial Gardens.
