Eva A. Gehr

Eva A. Gehr, 94, formerly of Meadville, and a resident of Parkhaven Nursing Home, Ashtabula, died there Monday Feb. 7, 2005.

She was born June 3, 1910, in Pine Twp. Crawford Co., PA, a daughter of Jess G. and Pauline Bash Money.  She married Charles Gehr March 21, 1937, and he preceded her in death, Sept. 27, 1985.

She had been employed in the Creeling department of the former American Viscose Co. of Meadville, and was a long time member of Linesville United Methodist Church.

Survivors include one sister, Josephine Petersen and her husband Herbert of Ashtabula, and many nieces & nephews.

In addition to her husband, she was also preceded in death by 3 sisters, Rose Peck, Dorothy Bullis, and Florence Bigusiak, and 4 brothers, Grant, Norman, Orin, and Mark Money.

There are no calling hours.

The funeral service will be held Friday at 1:30 p.m. at Robert W. Waid Funeral Home, Inc. 581 Chestnut St. Meadville, PA

Officiating will be the Rev. Alan Harris, pastor of Linesville United Methodist Church.

Burial will be in Greendale Cemetery, Meadville.
