Eva Belle Ladds

Mrs. Eva Belle Ladds, 85, of Guys Mills, died at City Hospital Friday, September 27, 1974, after a short illness.  She had been hospitalized three weeks.

Born at Grove City on August 27, 1889, she was a daughter of Thomas C. and Laura J White Moon.  She was the widow of William W. Ladds who died in 1950.  Mrs. Ladds was a member of Lyona Community Church and the Missionary Society of the church.

Survivors include five daughters, Mrs. Frank (Bernice) Whalen of Jackson Center, Mrs. Arthur (Geraldine) Shields of Iola, KA, Mrs. Josephine Worley of Guys Mills, Mrs. Eva Agens of Pasadena, CA and Mrs. Lloyd (Jane) Kirk of Guys Mills; a son, William T. Ladds of Saegertown; two sisters, Mrs. Hazel Thompson and Mrs. Alma Barbor, both of Grove City; a brother, Fred Moon of Grove City; eighteen grandchildren; forty great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.

Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.

Interment was in Wayland Cemetery.
