Evelyn A. Fair

Evelyn A. Fair, 94 of Canal Twp, Franklin, passed away on December 30, 2018 at home surrounded by her family. Evelyn was born on September 23, 1924. She was married to her husband, Ford L. Fair, he preceded her in death in 1976. She was protestant by faith. Evelyn was pure Native American Indian and a full blooded Cherokee. She was a wonderful homemaker and loved taking care of her children and grandchildren. She was known for her cooking, especially her baked goods, homemade noodles, pizzas, jams, and Sunday chicken dinners. She will be remembered as a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Evelyn is survived by her her children, Deborah (Ralph) Hedglin of Franklin, Ricky (Kathy) Fair of Clark, PA, Eddie (Barbara) Fair of West Middlesex, and Donny (Sue) Fair of West Middlesex, numerous grandchildren, and numerous great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, daughter Maryann Fair, infant daughter Sandy Fair, and grandson Shawn Hedglin. Funeral Arrangements have been entrusted to the Black Funeral Home of SANDY LAKE. Funeral services will be private. Interment will take place in Haywood Cemetery, West Middlesex.
