Evelyn Bentley

Mrs. Evelyn Bentley, 65, formerly of Espyville, a resident of Los Lunas, NM, since 1966, died Thursday, August 14, 1975, at Presbyterian Hospital, Albuquerque, after an extended illness.

She was born at Hartstown November 10, 1909, a daughter of Norman and Sarah McQueen Hay.  She married Archie Bentley in 1945.  He died in 1969.  Mrs Bentley taught school in Kentucky for five years and in Pennsylvania for several years.  She was a member of Peralta United Methodist Church, Peralta, NM, and was a graduate of Edinboro State College.

Survivors include three daughters, Mrs. Howard (Helen) Flickinger of Linesville, Mrs. Robert (Ruth) Vickery of Andover, OH and Mrs. Frank (Norma) Fath of LaVerne, CA; two sons, Harry Bentley of Erie and Neil Bentley of Espyville; a sister, Mrs. Norman (Elizabeth) Howard of Hartstown; grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.

Interment was in Radle Cemetery, Randolph Township, Crawford County.
