Evelyn J. Smith

Mrs. Evelyn J. Smith, 73, wife of Amos Smith, of Guys Mills, died at Corry Memorial Hospital, Corry, Wednesday, June 20, 1984, after a brief illness.

She was born at Crawford County, December 28, 1910, a daughter of Raymond and Olive Rush Nageotte.

She was a member of St. Hippolyte's Roman Catholic Church, Frenchtown.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Linda Packard of Findley Lake, NY and Mrs. Carol Wilson of Albuquerque; two sons, Robert A. Smith of Albuquerque and Larry W. Smith of Guys Mills; two sisters, Ethel Beebe of Erie and Mrs. Ruth Humes of Meadville; a brother, Robert Nageotte of Meadville; six grandchildren and a great-grandchild.

She was preceded in death by a sister, Mary Moran.

Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.

Interment was in St. Hippolyte Cemetery.
