Everett W. English

Everett W. English, 69, of Vernon Township, April 2, 1984, at St. Vincent Health Center, Erie, after an illness of several months.

He was born March 5, 1915 at Keister, Butler County, a son of James F. and Caroline Campbell English.  He married Kathryn McBride.

English retired in 1979 from Westinghouse Corp. at Sharon.  He was a US Army veteran of World War II, serving in Europe.

A member of First Presbyterian Church, English also was a member of Masonic Lodge 408; Solomon Royal Arch Chapter 191; Northwestern Commandery 25; and Disabled American Veterans 79 of Meadville.

Survivors, in addition to his wife, include two daughters, Darlene of Philadelphia and Connie, at home; four sons, James E. of Syracuse, David L. of Grafton, WV, Mark A. of Colleemee, NC and Gary W. of Lompoc, CA; a sister, Mrs. Barbara Hunter of Philadelphia; and four grandchildren.  He was preceded in death by twin sons.

Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.

Interment was in Millbank Cemetery, Fredonia.
