F. David Brown

F. David Brown, 74, of Meadville, died Sunday, June 26, 1988, at Samartian Hospital, Ashland, Ohio, following a short illness.

He was born in Meadville, September 7, 1913, a son of Harry E. and E. Gertrude Hughs.  He married Margaret F. Fisher October 6, 1934.  She survives.

Mr. Brown had worked as chief of master planning at Talon Inc. for 42 years.  He was a member of Stone United Methodist Church and was a former trustee and former member of the official board of the church.

Survivors, in addition to his wife, include two sons, David H. Brown of Largo, MD and P. Thomas Brown of Ashland, OH; a sister, Margaret G. Bubbett of Meadville; two brothers, George H. Brown of Albany, NY and Hermon G. Brown of Conneaut Lake; two grandchildren.  He was preceded in death by three brothers, Henry D. Brown, Alfred Brown and Herbert G. Brown.

Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.

Interment was in Cochranton Cemetery.
