F. Harvey Chase

F. Harvey Chase, 77, of Meadville, died Monday December 19, 1977, at Hamot Medical Center, Erie, where he had been a patient for three and one-half months.

Born in Meadville, November 15, 1900, he was a son of Silas C. and Eva Dechert Chase.  He married Marjorie Davidson July 20, 1925.  For many years he was employed as a purchasing agent by the former American Brake Shoe Co.  and later was wage tax officer for the City of Meadville for several years.  A member of Stone United Methodist Church, he also was a member of the church's Men's Bible Class.

In addition to his wife, survivors include a son, Richard A. Chase of Milwaukee; three brothers, John H. Chase of Conneaut, OH; Robert W. Chase of Phoenix; Clarence L. Chase of Albion; tow granddaughters, Mrs. Todd (Marjorie) Schroeder of New Orleans and Miss Leah Beth Chase of Milwaukee.

Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.

Interment was in Roselawn Memorial Gardens.
