F. Wray Clark, 88, of Meadville, died Thursday, September 20, 1990, at Meadville Medical Center following a short illness.
He was born in East Mead Township on July 30, 1902, a son of Millard E. and Edna Shaffer Clark. He married Florence M. Hilgendorf on May 6, 1925. She preceded him in death on December 20, 1976. He subsequently married Julia M. Enbler on December 25, 1979. She survives.
He was a lifelong farmer. He was a member of Crawford Masonic Lodge 234, Meadville; New Castle Consistory; Zem Zem Shrine Temple, Erie; Grotto; past monarch, Kismet Grotto, Meadville; Cussewago Odd Fellows Lodge 108, Meadville; 65-year member of Randolph Grange; past chief, Crawford-Erie State Police; and past captain of its Co. 21.
Survivors, in addition to his wife, include a son, Richard W. Clark of Meadville; three sisters, Edna Huckelbury of Saegertown, Mrs. Kenneth (Esther) Hill of Saegertown and Marian Humes of Meadville; a brother, Millard A. Clark of Meadville; two grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.
Interment was in Blooming Valley Cemetery.
