Mrs. Fanny A. Ellsworth, 76, of Meadville, died Sunday, July 2, 1961, at San Rosario Convalescent Hospital, Cambridge Springs, where she had been a patient for two months. She had been in ill health for several years.
Mrs. Ellsworth was the widow of Dr. William A. Ellsworth, a specialist in pediatrics and obstetrics, who died June 9, 1923. She had made her home in Meadville since 1921.
She was born at Conneaut Lake, August 28, 1884, a daughter of Frank P. and Elizabeth Andrews Gillis. She was a member for First Presbyterian Church in Meadville and of the Social Circle of Conneaut Lake Presbyterian Church.
Surviving are five cousins, Mrs. Reid Mellon, Mrs. Don Allen, Grover Andrews, and Floyd Adsit, all of Conneaut Lake and Mrs. Nellie Sprague of Campbell, CA.
Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.
Interment was in Lakeview Cemetery.
