Faye E. Keenan, 91, formerly of Marion, Ohio, and a resident of Wesbury United Methodist Retirement Community, Meadville, PA, since April 1999, died at Meadville Medical Center, Wednesday October 16, 2002.
She was born April 24, 1911, near Point Pleasant, Mason County, West Virginia, a daughter of Fillie O. & Anna McMillan Zuspan. She married Ronald Clay Keenan in 1930, and he preceded her in death in 1989.
She was a 1929 graduate of Marion Harding High School, Marion, Ohio. She had been employed for many years as head bookkeeper for The Production Credit Assn. of Marion. She was a lover of music, and had sung in church choirs both in Meadville and Marion.
Survivors include a son, Robert A. Keenan, and his wife, Molly, of Meadville, a daughter Nancy A. Fazio, and her husband, Vincent, of Bloomfield Hills, Mich., 6 grandchildren, Allison Faye Keenan-Mitchell, Gregory A. Keenan, David, Joseph, Jeffrey, and Timothy Fazio, and 10 great grandchildren, 2 brothers, Philip Zuspan of Quincy, Ill, and John W. Zuspan of Fort Jones, Calif, and a dear friend, J. Walker of Marion.
She was preceded in death by 2 brothers, Charles and Howard Zuspan.
A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday Nov. 30, 2002, at Epworth United Methodist Church, Marion. Burial will follow in the Marion Cemetery.
The family suggests memorials be made to the Choir Fund of Epworth United Methodist Church.
