Mrs. Florence A. Schenberg, 69, well-known in Crawford County grange circles, died Tuesday, June 6, 1967, at City Hospital after a short illness.
She was a resident of Guys Mills until moving to the home of a daughter at Venango six years ago. Mrs. Schenberg was a past master of Randolph Grange, was a member of Crawford County Pomona Grange and was a seventh degree member of the National Grange. She was a member of St. Hippolyte's Roman Catholic Church, Frenchtown.
Born at Frenchtown, September 16, 1897, she was a daughter of William and Elizabeth Bideaux Ewing. She married William P. Schenberg May 6, 1914. He died in 1959.
She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Harry (Jean) Johnson of Venango, with whom she made her home, and Mrs. Douglas (Felice) Gordon of Cleveland; two sons, Robert of Hydetown and William of Cochranton; fifteen grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.
Interment was in St. Hippolyte Cemetery.
