Florence Gable

Florence Gable, 77, of Meadville, died Thursday, November 11, 1993, at Meadville Medical Center following a lengthy illness.

She was born in Pittsburgh, July 15, 1916, a daughter of Joseph and Frances Beiger Jablonski.  She married James R. Gable June 25, 1940.  He survives.

She was a homemaker.  She worked briefly at Talon, Inc. and the former Meadville Malleable Iron, Co.  She was a member of St. Agatha Roman Catholic Church and its Altar Rosary Society.  She was a member of the Do-It-Yourself Club.

Survivors, in addition to her husband, include a daughter, Shirley Gable of Meadville; a sister, Bertha Strasser of Meadville; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by two sisters, Josephine Majestic and Stella Morrow; and five brothers, Joseph, Edward, Sylvester and Charles Jablonski, and an infant brother.

Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.

Interment was in Kiser Hill Cemetery.
