Florence K. (Eden) Holler

Florence K. Holler, 87, of Meadville (Vernon Township), died Monday, March 28, 2016 at Meadville Medical Center.

She was born September 6, 1928 in Bridgeport, CT, a daughter of William F. and Dorothy Lacentra Eden.  She married Charles D. Holler September 23, 1951 and he preceded her in death October 9, 1992.

Florence was employed by the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and retired as secretary of the House of Representatives Appropriations Committee in 1988 following 25 years of service.

She was a member of Our Lady Queen of the Americas Roman Catholic Church, Conneaut Lake.

Survivors include two sons, Daniel Holler and his wife Yuxian of Linesville and John Bachman and his wife Bonnie of Kutztown; a grandson, David Bachman and his wife Jennifer of Hamburg, PA; and a great-granddaughter, Sophia Bachman.

Calling hour will be Thursday from 10 to 11 a.m. at Our Lady Queen of the Americas Church, 155 S. Ninth St., Conneaut Lake where a Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 11:00 a.m. with Fr. Jeffrey Lucas as Celebrant.

Interment will be in Our Lady Queen of the Americas Cemetery.
