Florence I. Edmonds

Mrs. Florence I. Edmonds, 79, of Meadville, died Tuesday, October 14, 1975, at City Hospital of complications resulting from an auto accident last Friday.

Born in Meadville, November 16, 1895, she was a daughter of Harry and Miranda Smith Nichols.  She married Milton W. Edmonds September 17, 1924.  He preceded her in death.  In her early years, she was employed as a kitchen worker by Phi Gamma Delta and Sigma Alpha Epsilon fraternities of Allegheny College.  She was a member of First Baptist Church.

Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Jack (Jean) Green of Enid, OK; a son, Richard W. Edmonds of Meadville; seven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by four brothers and a sister.

Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.

Interment was in Greendale Cemetery.
