Floyd J. Mook, 70, of Guys Mills, died Saturday, September 15, 1962, while at work at the Lloyd Carpenter farm in Richmond Township. He had been under a physician's care.
He was born in Greenwood Township January 7, 1892, a son of Jesse P. and Henrietta Smock Mook.
He is survived by his widow, the former Myrtle Powell; two sons, Wilbur of Meadville and Elery of Kennerdale; three step-daughters, Mrs. Annabelle Consiglio and Mrs. Shirley Shillsky, both of Meadville and Mrs. Rose Marie Dewey of Guys Mills; two sisters, Mrs. Georgia Greenlee of Franklin and Mrs. Herbert (Edna) Ditch of Meadville; two brothers, Leon P. of Guys Mills and Dorrance Mook of Edinboro and five grandchildren.
Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.
Interment was in Union Cemetery, Guys Mills.
