Floyd Messerall

Floyd Messerall, 70, of Meadville, died Saturday, January 23, 1965, at City Hospital after an illness of several months.

He was born in Randolph Township, November 23, 1894, a son of Eugene and Emma Gourley Messerall.  His wife, the former Lotus M. Anderhalt, died September 17, 1957.

Mr. Messerall formerly was a carmen's helper for the Erie Lackawanna Railroad.

He was a member and elder of the Christian and Missionary Alliance Church and was active in its Sunday School.

He is survived by a daughter, Miss Maxine Messerall at home; three sons, Hudson E. of Bensenville, IL, Elwin F. of Canton, OH and Paul Durward Messerall of Indianapolis, IN; a sister, Mrs. Arnold (Willa) Jones of Townville and four grandchildren.

Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.

Interment was in Cochranton Cemetery.
