Floyd Peterson, 71, of Cochranton, where he had been residing with a son for the past three months, died at City Hospital Saturday, November 12, 1960, after a long illness.
Prior to living in Cochranton, he lived in the Guys Mills area for 42 years. He farmed all his life.
He was born in Greenwood Township January 26, 1889, a son of Thomas and Ruth Mook Peterson.
Survivors include three daughters, Mrs. Ray (Florence) Young of Guys Mills, Mrs. Gola Rappana of Hancock, MI and Mrs. James (Nellie) Callahan of Meadville; three sons, Homer E. of Cochranton, Floyd B. of Mercer and Theodore (Ted) of Conneautville; a sister, Mrs. Dudley (Florence) Kahler of Meadville and sixteen grandchildren.
Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.
Interment was in Mt. Hope Cemetery.
