Floye E. Rounds

Mrs. Floye E. Rounds, 82, who had resided at Mead Nursing Home for the past two years, died early Thursday, September 27, 1973, at City Hospital after a long illness.  She had been hospitalized for three weeks.

Born in Meadville on April 23, 1891, she was a daughter of Jefferson and Elizabeth Miller Kightlinger.  On June 1, 1915, she married Carl E. Rounds who died July 4, 1971.  Mrs. Rounds formerly was employed by Talon Division of Textron and by Spirella Corset Co.  She was a member of Meadville Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses.

Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Maxine Calvin (Dr. Charles) of Meadville and Mrs. Robert (June) Allen of Terre Haute, IN; two sons, Wilbur and Carl R. Rounds, both of Meadville; two sisters, Mrs. Arden (Thelma) Karn, both of Meadville;  one brother, High Kightlinger of Meadville and eleven grandchildren.

Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.

Interment was in Kiser Hill Cemetery.
