FRANCES E. DUNN

Frances E. Dunn, 68, of 16755 McMath Ave., Meadville, died Wednesday, July 11, 2001 at Meadville Medical Center following a 3-month illness.

She was born April 7, 1933 in Meadville, a daughter of the late George A. Wiltrout and Violet M. Curtis Wiltrout Krider.  She married John C. Dunn February 28, 1954.

She was a 1951 graduate of Meadville High School.  She worked in sales for Zales Jewelers of Boardman, OH for over 20 years.  She subsequently worked in customer service at the Meadville Area Federal Credit Union and then in the Jewelry department at Montgomery Wards of Meadville for 8 years.  She enjoyed bowling and gardening.

She was of the Methodist faith.

Survivors include two brothers, John Wiltrout and his wife Nancy of Meadville and Willard Wiltrout and his wife Glenyce of Osceola, Ark.; one sister, Shirley Soth of Edinboro; two step-brothers, Donald Krider of Ft. Worth, TX and Duane Krider of Erie; her former husband and lifelong friend, John Dunn of Erie; and many nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her parents; a stepfather, Rodney Krider; and a sister, Margaret J. (Peg) Yoder.

Calling hours will be Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the Robert W. Waid Funeral Home, 581 Chestnut St., Meadville.

A funeral service will be Saturday at 10:30 a.m. at the funeral home with Rev. Lea Guiney, Pastor of Littles Corners United Methodist Church officiating.

Burial will be in Roselawn Memorial Gardens.
