Frances M. Robbins

Frances M. Robbins, of Guys Mills, died Monday, October 13, 1986, at Meadville Medical Center following a sudden illness.

Miss Robbins was born in Elizabeth, a daughter of Joseph H. and Grace Anna Fields Robbins.

She was employed as a secretary at Talon, Inc. and retired in 1972.  She was a graduate of Allegheny College; Meadville Conservatory of Music and Pittsburgh Conservatory of Music.  She was a member of Meadville Rebekah Lodge 60; Order of the Amaranth; The Sons of Daughters of the Pioneer Rivermen; and a 46-year member of Daughters of the Union Veterans.

Survivors include one niece and three nephews.

She was preceded in death by three sisters, Grace Wheeler; Priscilla Obivett Emig Hotchkiss and Nancy Ellen Bailey and two brothers, James Robbins and Marcellus Robbins.

There are no calling hours.

Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.

Interment was in Greendale Cemetery.
