Frances P. Gigone

Mrs. Frances P. Gigone, 76, of Meadville, widow of Ernest F. Gigone, died Saturday, March 30, 1985, at Spencer Hospital following a brief illness.

She was born at Cochranton August 17, 1908, a daughter of Harry P. and Sara Hovis Hart.  She married Mr. Gigone on July 7, 1932, and he preceded her in death on September 23, 1984.

She was a clerk at the former Smith's Red & White store at Randolph Street and Park Avenue.  She was a member of Denny Chapel, and attended Deckards Homemaker Club.

Survivors include two sons, Gary E. Gigone of Meadville and Rodney L. Gigone of Meadville; a sister, Mrs. Robert (Helen) Smith of Concord, CA; nieces and nephews, and two granddaughters.  In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by an infant daughter.

Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.

Interment was in Roselawn Memorial Gardens.
