Mrs. Frances Virginia LeComte, 85, wife of Arthur A. LeComte, of Frenchtown, died at her home Saturday, April 2, 1960, after a long illness.
Mrs. LeComte was born in East Mead Township, January 9, 1875, a daughter of Julius and Julia Groglode DuCray. She lived in the Frenchtown area all her life. She married LeComte, August 18, 1908. She was the widow of Joseph B. Richard, who died in January 1899, and was a member of St. Hippolyte Roman Catholic Church, Frenchtown.
Besides her husband, she is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Marie V. Rickert of Frenchtown and Mrs. Jack (Dorothy) Connors of Chicago; a son, Joseph O. Richard of Frenchtown; two stepsons, Murray LeComte of Meadville and Elmer LeComte of Watsonville, CA; two sisters, Mrs. Eva Brunot and Miss Laura DuCray; and two brothers, Nestor A. and Julius P. DuCray, all of Frenchtown; seven grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.
Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.
Interment was in St. Hippolyte Cemetery.
