Frances Weston Eiler, 89, a resident of Wesbury United Methodist Community since 1998, died Friday at the Meadville Medical Center.
She was born in Utica, PA March 15, 1913, a daughter of John & Lula Shoemaker Deeter. She married Paul H. Weston and he preceded her in death in 1961. She subsequently married V. W. Eiler, III, June 29, 1962, and he died Oct. 25, 1976.
She was a homemaker and especially enjoyed flower gardening, cooking, and her family.
She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church.
Survivors include one son, Dennis P. Weston and his wife Monnie of Meadville, two grandsons, Chad Weston and his wife Stefanie and Jason Weston and his wife Amy, four great grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by four sisters, Beatrice Wright, Charlotte Deeter, Jean Dietl, & Winifred Wood, and six brothers, Max, Victor, Elwood, Paul, Clair, & Robert Deeter.
Calling hours will be Sunday from 7-9 p.m. at Robert W. Waid Funeral Home, Inc. 581 Chestnut St., Meadville.
A private family funeral and committal service will be Monday at 10:30 a.m. with the Rev. Drew Elling, Associate Pastor, First Presbyterian Church, officiating.
Burial will be in Greendale Cemetery.
