Frank A. Edwards

Frank A. Edwards, 73, of Meadville, died Monday, October 7, 1968 at Spencer Hospital where he had been a patient for three weeks.

He was born in Junction City, Ark., March 5, 1895, a son of Joseph and Stella Ward Edwards.  He married the former Dorothy Pardo May 26, 1926.

Mr. Edwards held the position of assistant test engineer at Erie Lackawanna Railroad from 1934 to when he retired in 1960.  He worked for the railroad since 1917.  He was a member of First Baptist Church.  He graduated from Louisiana Polytechnic Institute in 1916, was a veteran of World War I and a member of Charles N. Stafford Post of the American Legion.

Survivors, besides his widow, are two sons, James A. of Lawrenceburg, KY and Richard F. of Virginia Beach, VA; a sister, Mrs. Sidney (Mary) Marchand of Donaldsville, LA; a brother, Walter of Ruston, LA and seven grandchildren.

Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.

Interment was in Roselawn Memorial Gardens.
