Frank E. Morris

Frank E. Morris, 90, of Butler and formerly of Clarendon, died Thursday, August 18, 2016 at Sunnyview Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Butler.

He was born October 16, 1925 in Detroit, MI, a son of Paul E. and Kay I. Morris.  He was raised in Richmond Township, Crawford County and married Billie Anne Kedash May 2, 1952.  She preceded him in death December 9, 1985.

Frank was a Veteran of World War II, serving in the U.S. Army from 1944 to 1946 in the Pacific Theater of Operations.  He worked as an electrical engineer for Accu-Ray Corporation, Columbus, OH.

Frank was of the Methodist faith.  He was a member of the National Rifle Assn. and enjoyed hunting and photography.

Survivors include two daughters, Valorie Smith and her husband Marshall of Slippery Rock and Regina Laidlaw and her husband Scott of Champlin, MN; a son, Paul Morris and his wife Cathy of El Cajon, CA; five grandchildren, Miranda, Paula, Kevin, Brian, and Adam; and four great-grandchildren, Kaitlyn, Samantha, Abbigail, and Wyatt.

Calling hours will be Monday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at the ROBERT W. WAID FUNERAL HOME, 581 CHESTNUT ST., MEADVILLE.

The funeral service will be Tuesday at 10:00 a.m. at the funeral home with the Rev. Dave Brumagin officiating.

Interment will be in North Richmond Cemetery, Richmond Township, Crawford County.
