Frank G. Beddick, Jr.

Frank G. Beddick, Jr., 59, of Meadville, died unexpectedly Monday, August 7, 1995 at Meadville Medical Center.

He was born in Pittsburgh, October 10, 1935, a son of Frank G. and May Conner Beddick, Sr.  He married Charlotte Watson, November 25, 1960.  She survives.

He was vice president of Mobilcom, where he was responsible for sales and finance.  He formerly was sales manager of A.W. Miller Technical Sales of East Aurora, NY; president of Roblin Steel and Roblin Building Product Systems, both of Buffalo; president of Monroe Games of Arcade, NY; vice president of manufacturing for Ontario Knife and Queen Cutlery Division of Servotronics of Franklinville, NY and Titusville; and associated at one time with Moog Inc. and US Steel.

He was a 1953 graduate of Randolph-East Mead High School in Guys Mills, a 1961 graduate of Thiel College in Greenville, and earned his MBA in 1969 from the University of Rochester.

He was a member of First Presbyterian Church of Meadville.

He was a member and former board member of Meadville Rotary Club, a member of Masonic Lodge 626 of Franklinville, Taylor Hose Co., Iroquois Boating and Fishing Club, Pioneer Investment Club, Hillside Home Advisory Board, and a United Way volunteer for many years.  Survivors, in addition to his wife, include his parents of Erie; a daughter, Mrs. Russell (Cheryl) Shaffer of Annandale, VA; two sons, Steven G. Beddick of Grove City and Todd J. Beddick at home; a sister, May L. Beddick of Erie; and two grandsons.

Services were held at First Presbyterian Church.

Interment was in Roselawn Memorial Gardens.
