Frank J. Carilli, Jr., 76, of Conneaut Lake, died Wednesday, August 3, 2022 at Embassy of Park Avenue, Meadville.
He was born August 29, 1945 in Pittsburgh, a son of Frank J. Carilli, Sr. and Bernice Marley Carilli. He married Judith Metts November 25, 1988.
Frank was a 1964 graduate of Chartiers Valley High School and was a Veteran of the Vietnam War, serving in the U.S. Army from 1965 to 1967 with the 101st Airborne Division.
Frank worked in various machine shops over the years. He was a lifetime member of the VFW, enjoyed fishing, muscle cars, wintering in Florida, and was an avid Steelers fan. He always had a joke to tell and a funny limerick to sing.
Survivors, in addition to his wife Judith, include a son, Mathew Carilli of Mentor, OH; a daughter, Tracy Hill (Greg) of Huntsburg, OH; two grandchildren, Hannah and Seth Hill; two sisters, Evelyn Siget of Bridgeville and Roselle Makitka (Al) of Delaware; two brothers, Tony Carilli (Linda) of Virginia and Marc Carilli (Pia) of Pittsburgh; and nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother-in-law, Bill Siget.
Services are private.
Memorials may be made to an animal rescue or humane society of the donor’s choice.
