Frank J. Leonhart, 73, formerly of Frenchtown and Punta Gorda, FL and a current resident of Titusville Towers, Titusville, died May 18, 2005 at Meadville Medical Center.
He was born March 13, 1932 in Cleveland, OH, a son of the late Frank and Paula Geyer Leonhart. He married Maxine Galbraith December 1, 1953 and she survives.
He was a 1949 graduate of the former Randolph High School. He worked for W.L. Dunn Construction Company and subsequently worked for 30 years for Pittsfield Construction Company of Youngsville, retiring in 1989 as superintendent. He was a member of the Meadville Elks Lodge 219 and the Meadville Eagles Club Aerie 429.
Survivors, in addition to his wife, include 2 sons, Frank Leonhart of Marshville, NC and Henry Leonhart and his wife Linda of Townville; a daughter, Kathy McCarl and her husband James of Guys Mills; 4 grandchildren, Stephanie Farrell, Paul McCarl, Nicholas Leonhart, and Benjamin Leonhart; and 4 great-grandchildren, Austin, Justin, and Bryce Farrell and Jack McCarl. He was preceded in death by a stepsister, Betty Tartaglione.
There are no services planned.
Interment will be in Mt. Hope Cemetery.
Arrangements are under the direction of the Robert W. Waid Funeral Home, 581 Chestnut St., Meadville, PA.
